Finding a Job

The Commonwealth Services Group Ltd specialises in finding Skilled candidates work within the United Kingdom and throughout New  Zealand. We work with specialist recruitment companies and also within our own expansive network. Let us use our contacts and experience to open the door to the opportunities available.

Check out the JOB TYPES first before you go further!

Once you've decided that you're actually going to the UK and want to work there, all you need to do is complete our on-line registration form. The Commonwealth Services Group Ltd will require your CV (if its on computer just attach the file and email it to us), or complete our online CV form. This will enable us to assess your CV and then to send it to the UK. From here, we will be able to get an up to date indication of job availability as well the money applicable for your job.

If you can not email your CV, send it by post to us at our contact address.

Or, if you need an updated CV, we can help you with this! Click our CV Preparation Services or complete our online CV form.

Job Applications

The process really is easy, all you need to do is fill in this form.

Or, you can follow these three steps:

STEP 1 REFERENCE CHECKS

The next step is for us to check verbally with two of your referees and verify your qualifications. In some cases a check on any criminal convictions may be required. We conduct these checks in New Zealand in accordance with New Zealand legislation so these are already done for you prior to your arrival in the UK.

STEP 2 ARRANGING AN INTERVIEW IN THE UK

We will arrange an interview time suited to you, to meet the consultant in the UK once you have arrived. If you're not too sure when you will be arriving, that isn't a problem as we will arrange to provide you with consultant's contact details - you can then make the appointment when you get there.

STEP 3 GETTING THE JOB!

From there, it's simply a matter of talking with your UK Consultant about the type of position that is available that best suits you. You should remember that the employment market changes almost daily and the demand for your job type can fluctuate.
